What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep, so that the next page knows something the last one did. Related technologies do the same job by other means: local storage keeps values in the browser rather than sending them back with each request, and a tracking pixel is a tiny image whose retrieval tells the server something. This page covers all of them, whatever the mechanism.
This is a catalogue site, not a shop. There is no basket, no account and no checkout, so there is very little for a cookie to remember. What follows is genuinely short, and that is a consequence of how the business works rather than a claim about our attitude to privacy.

That is the whole list. There is no advertising pixel on this site, no remarketing tag, no social media tracker and no cross-site profiling of any kind. If that ever changes, this table changes first and the consent banner will ask you again.
Strictly necessary, and why it needs no consent
The first two entries above are exempt from the consent requirement because the site cannot function without them, which is the test the ePrivacy rules apply. They carry no information about you as a person: one is a random session identifier, the other records a yes or a no.
Changing your mind
If you accepted analytics and would rather not have, clearing this site's cookies in your browser removes both the analytics identifier and the record of your choice, and the banner will ask again on your next visit. Declining is not a second-class experience: every page works identically either way.
Clearing cookies in the usual browsers
- Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies and See all site data and permissions. Search for zespar.com and delete it.
- Firefox: Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Cookies and Site Data, then Manage Data. Search for zespar.com and remove it.
- Safari: Settings, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data. Search for zespar.com and remove it.
- Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions, then Manage and delete cookies and site data, then See all cookies and site data.
Every one of these also offers a blanket block on all cookies. That will work here, though it breaks a great many other websites, so it is a heavier hammer than this page needs.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not set optional cookies without consent in the first place, so a browser signal asking us not to track is already satisfied by the default state of this site.
How this relates to the privacy policy
This page is only about what is stored on your own device. What happens to the information you send us, a name, a delivery address, a telephone number for the courier, is covered separately in the privacy policy, along with how long it is kept and what you can require us to do with it.
