Who is delivering

Zespar is the trading name of FLOFUM, S.L., registered in Spain under CIF B75621250, registered office Calle Parcerisa 13, Local 1, 08014 Barcelona, Spain. Deliveries are carried out by third-party carriers acting on our instructions, and this policy covers what we commit to in that arrangement.

Where we send things

To street addresses in the twenty-seven member states of the European Union. A residential address, a workplace or a reception desk are all fine as long as somebody is there to accept the parcel and hand over the payment.

We cannot deliver to a PO box, a parcel locker, a pick-up point or a poste restante address. Cash on delivery requires a person to receive the box and pay for it, which rules out anything unattended. We also do not ship outside the EU.

Islands and remote regions. Some carriers treat the Balearics, the Canaries, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, the Greek islands and similar destinations as a separate service with its own timings and costs. If your address falls into one of those, we will say so in the confirmation before anything ships rather than discovering it afterwards.

Nothing ships before it is confirmed

An enquiry through the site is not an order. When your message reaches us we check the appliance is physically in stock, work out the carriage to your address, and reply with the appliance, the delivery charge and the single total the courier will collect. Only when you confirm that total does anything get packed.

This is also the point at which we flag anything unusual: a long lead time, an island surcharge, or a carrier that will not take cash on delivery to your postcode.

Dispatch and tracking

Confirmed orders are normally handed to the carrier within one to two working days. You get the carrier name and a tracking reference by email on the day it leaves. Tracking sometimes takes several hours to start showing movement, which is the carrier's scanning schedule rather than a problem with the parcel.

How long it takes

Counted in working days from dispatch, not from the day you first wrote to us. These are the ranges we have actually seen rather than best cases.

Region Typical time Notes
Spain, mainland 1 to 3 days Shortest route, since stock sits here
France, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Benelux 2 to 4 days Standard road freight
Central Europe 3 to 5 days Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria
Nordic and Baltic states 4 to 7 days Longer trunk legs, occasional ferry
Greece, Romania, Bulgaria 4 to 7 days Rural postcodes sit at the top of the range
Islands and remote regions 5 to 10 days Confirmed case by case before dispatch

Weather, strikes and the fortnight around a public holiday all stretch these. If a parcel is materially late we chase the carrier ourselves rather than waiting to be asked.

What the driver collects

The full total, in cash, in the currency of the delivery country. That figure is the one stated in the confirmation email and it does not change on the doorstep. There is no handling fee, no fuel surcharge, no charge for paying in cash and no rounding.

The driver cannot take a card, a cheque or a transfer, and cannot accept part payment. Please have the amount ready and as close to exact as you can manage, since couriers carry little change and some carry none.

Before you accept the parcel

Take the minute. Check the box is the right size and weight for what you ordered and look over the outer carton for crushing, punctures or water marks. You are entitled to open it and look at the appliance while the driver waits.

If the appliance is wrong, visibly damaged or simply not what was agreed, refuse the parcel. You hand over nothing, you owe nothing, and it travels back to us at our cost. That is far cleaner for everyone than accepting it and starting a return.

Damage found later

Tell us by email within 48 hours of delivery, with the tracking reference and photographs of the appliance, the packaging and the shipping label. Carriers impose short windows for transit damage claims and the packaging is the evidence, so please keep it until the matter is settled.

Where transit damage is confirmed we collect the appliance, send a replacement and pay the carriage both ways. If part of a multi-parcel order is missing, tell the driver, accept what has arrived and email us. You will never be asked to pay for goods that are not in front of you.

Failed deliveries

Carriers normally attempt delivery two or three times on consecutive working days and leave a card or a message with a way to rearrange. If every attempt fails the parcel returns to us, and we will contact you to arrange a second run or to close the order.

A first return costs you nothing. If a second full attempt also fails because nobody was available and no contact was made, we may ask you to cover the second carriage before trying again. We will always say so in writing first.

Address changes

Before dispatch, simply email the new address. Once a parcel is with the carrier, a change is sometimes possible and sometimes not, and some carriers charge for a redirection. We will tell you which applies rather than guessing.
